What's up for 2010? Ask us at the PCMA Annual Meeting

As a tough year draws to a close, the Travel Planners team is headed to Dallas with great success stories to tell and big ideas for 2010. From insights on boosting exhibitor retention to revolutionary new tools that save time and improve pick-up, they have news you can really use. Look for Mike Dickinson and Beth McEntee-Rome at the meeting. Or, better yet, click either of their names to send a quick email and arrange a meeting in advance.

Rez/Reg Reports Come Together

Travel Planners has enhanced its seamless integration with registration companies by posting registration reports on MyHousingInfo.com®. So managers now get single-login access to event data. "Our clients put quality first by selecting separate, best-in-class providers," claims President Ray Vastola. "But we make sure that working with two specialists never feels like twice as much work." Customer-facing integration already includes a one-session registration/reservation process and Unified Confirmations®.

Housing Site Now Translates to 50+ Languages

More international exhibitors and attendees are heading for events in the U.S. To be certain those valuable global travelers book in the block, Travel Planners now offers our reservation site in more than 50 languages. One click on a pulldown menu translates all text into the user's language of choice, from Spanish to Japanese. To direct non-English speakers to the feature, we can also add special, pre-translated links to emails targeted to international participants.

Mike Dickinson Named "Star of the Year"

We know that our Director of Sales, Mike Dickinson, is a stellar performer. But we got extra confirmation of that when the PCMA Capital Chapter presented him with the Star of the Year Award in November. Again and again, Mike has proven that no matter how busy you are there's always time to serve the needs of the community and of the industry at large. Congratulations, Mike. We're glad you're one of us!
